An Inspiration

I must say after I watched an episode of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey from two weeks ago (E9: The Lost Worlds of Planet Earth) and yesterday's episode (E11: The Immortals), I feel a little hopeless. We hold responsibility for our planet, for generations to come. We should care. And sometimes it seems too much for some people to care. I just don't understand. I can't put my thoughts into the right words, but like I said, it made me feel a little hopeless.

I was still stunned by 'The Immortals' episode when I started browsing the internet and I found this video someone shared on Tumblr. And I don't want to sound exaggerating but after I watched this I feel that this is our hope! If the the future looks like this maybe we and the next human generations have chance to sustain this planet, the intelligence, and then they all can figure out how to travel through space and find another home among stars before earth and our sun is no more. Do I even make sense right now? Do you know what I mean? Sorry, it's like waaay past two in the morning. The thing is... JUST WATCH THIS VIDEO. Donate! Or at least share!

PS: Are you bored of how much I mentioned Cosmos yet? Well, good for you (but not for me!), there's only two episodes left.

Sentimental Post

Big Sound Festival. May 15, 2013.

I can't stop thinking about that it's been a year since I saw my most favorite twins on planet Earth, Tegan and Sara performed. Some people would never understand how some other people like me would get obsessed over a band. Sometimes I don't understand either. But it's just so amazing to hear the songs you listen to every single day being played live at that very moment, sang by the very own writers and singers who seem to always brighten up your day with whatever it is they're creating. Okay, I'm totally obsessed, right? Don't remind me.

So I read Mockingjay. I didn't expect it to end like that but I like it. I also printed some photos (43) on Tuesday. I'm half happy and half disappointed about them. These photos have gone through an editing process by myself and the lady decided to give it another minor editing, without asking me. Pretty sure they add some kind of 'auto contrast' or 'auto leveling' whatever. I have to say, a few photos look better with that adjustment. But the others... not so much. Next time I have to remind her not to add anymore editing. It's just upsetting.

Still feeling a bit sentimental right now, but I got a plan for Friday. I'm pretty excited about it. Let's just hope the weather will be cooperative. :)
