Last Sunday the sky turned dark and I overheard a little kid yelled to his aunt, "There's going to be a storm!" excitedly. I rolled my eyes for his exaggeration. But when the rain started to pour so heavily, it was indeed like a storm. I looked through the window in horror and just hoping that everything will be fine. We're fine. But maybe our roof need a little retouch to ensure our safety and comfort.
On Monday morning I woke up early. And by early I mean like around 10 in the morning because the Oscar is on and I can't wait to know the result. Too bad their official website can’t livestream the live broadcast to people outside US and I was too lazy to find another livestream channel. So I just keep tracking the livetweet. I knew Meryl Streep will get another Oscar. I was guessing that it's gonna be The Artist or Hugo for Best Picture. Close enough. I haven't seen The Artist and been hearing/reading good reviews of it, even before the Oscar, so there goes another movie to hunt. For the red carpet, I love Jessica Chastain's dress. Simply gorgeous. And Angelina Jolie back to black but this time showing off her leg. Uh... Then there's instantly this fanmade movie poster on Tumblr for a movie called The Legs, starring Best Supporting Legs which are Angelina Jolie's legs. Hahaha I love Tumblr people.

It's official; Rooney Mara is my latest girlcrush (after Kristen Stewart and Megan Fox). She's amazing. She reminds me to Kristen Stewart. I mean not physically. They both love acting but they don't like promoting the movie which is pretty understandable. Movie promo could be really exhausting. Imagine travelling around the world, meet a lot of people from different mass media, go through a lot of interviews, and they ask you some same questions over again... and you still have to look good and friendly and all... man. I was just so happy that she was nominated for an Oscar. I knew the Best Actress for this year is going to be Meryl Streep, I'm just happy for her. And Gary Oldman, too! Man.
FYI, she graduated from International Relations (!) major in New York University, focusing on non-profit organizations. She have her own now, called Faces of Kibera. I read some transcript of her interview promoting The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and I like her instantly. And it's stil so hard for me to believe that she got all the piercings she had in the movie in just one afternoon. I just love the book and the movie; both the Swedish and Hollywood version. I love Noomi Rapace, she did great in the Swedish version. But when I see Rooney as Lisbeth, I was like this is how I imagine Lisbeth would look like. So yeah, I loooove Rooney.

February almost over. Thank God. I'm kind of sick with all the bullcrap of this month as 'the month of love'. And by the ending of the month it means that my holiday is less than a week! What? Noooo... but okay, let's start again. Last semester was crazy. I did pretty good but not good enough. That's it, I'm not gonna report my results here on my blog for the whole world to know. Let's just hope that this semester will not be overwhelming.
I canceled the internship. The fact is I'm not ready for it even though I tried so hard. Also, I won't make it with the schedule in the 6th semester. So yeah, I didn't have much to do at home during this holiday. I was planning to do some cleaning but up to this moment those plans remain plans. Instead, I was just fooling around the house and experimenting. I played with bubbles and giggled a lot by myself. I blew a lot more bubbles and take pictures of them but they disappear so quickly. On the afternoon I was playing again and this time next door's kids saw it and went "Bubbleeees!" Yeah, you're welcome, kiddos. If you look closely on this one, you can almost see me there in the middle.
And this was before the bubble burst ON my face the next second.
I love scrammble eggs. It's my favorite for breakfast. From all the eggs my Mum bought, I had almost all of it for breakfast and she wonders why I like eggs so much. Because, Mum, it's so easy to cook and there's nothing wrong about having it everyday. And here I was going to make iced coffee with oreos. Previously my mother bought me peanut butter and chocolate cream oreos when I usually had the vanilla ones. I looked at them pessimistically but once I had them in my mouth... man, I think it's one of the best combination ever. New favorite!
Also, my uncle came and gave me this dry-box for my camera. Now I can keep my camera in there to prevent fungus and molds. Be safe, Sirius. He said I can take it as my birthday present. It was like a month late but totally acceptable since I don't get much presents... :)
New semester starts next Monday so I'll just keep fooling around now. See ya'll around shortly.
